Book Sharing Monday - An Egg is Quiet

Today I am sharing this beautiful book "An Egg is Quiet" by Dianna Aston and Sylvia Long. If there is a kids' scientific book that is as beautifully illustrated and enchantingly written as this one, then I have never come across it. A truly awesome and awe-inspiring book. Quite lovely.

    The illustrations are beautiful. I love it when a writer works with a great illustrator to combine information with art.

    I LOVE this book!

    With all the birds/nest/egg books being recommended right now I remembered this wonderful must-read and put it on hold at our local library two days ago!

    I was thinking to share it with the BSM too. Now, I'll just post about it because I can't resist sharing this amazing book. I'm glad you are sharing it too.

    It's absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to come across this book about 4 or 5 years ago and tend to take it out every year around this time. Come to think about it, it's really weird we don't have our own copy!
